Sales Representative

Job Description

This posi­tion is full time and reports to the Direc­tor of Oper­a­tions / Pres­i­dent. Our Direc­tor of Sales and Out­side Events will be respon­si­ble for main­tain­ing a flu­id sales route, work­ing with dis­tri­b­u­tion part­ners, and direct­ly sup­port­ing local dis­tri­b­u­tion sales rep­re­sen­ta­tives in accor­dance with com­pa­ny poli­cies to fur­ther the Lone Tree Brew­ing Com­pa­ny Brand through out­side sales and events.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Dai­ly account vis­its in the greater Den­ver metro.
  • Front Range out­lier account vis­its — As needed/scheduled — (Col­orado Springs, Boulder/Longmont, Fort Collins)
  • West­ern Slope/Summit Coun­ty ter­ri­to­ries vis­its – As needed/scheduled accord­ing to season/events — (Sum­mit Coun­ty, Vail Val­ley, Steam­boat Springs, Glenwood/Aspen, and Grand Junction)
  • Secur­ing and main­tain­ing a pro­fes­sion­al work­ing rela­tion­ship with indi­vid­ual store beer buyers/managers, own­ers, and rel­a­tive staff.
  • Intro­duce new prod­ucts in accor­dance with monthly/yearly goals which include devel­op­ing sales mate­ri­als for dis­tri­b­u­tion and con­duct account sam­pling / education.
  • Maintain/increase brand vis­i­bil­i­ty by way of shelf place­ment, point of sale mate­r­i­al, pric­ing struc­ture, prod­uct fea­tures, menu vis­i­bil­i­ty, and staff awareness/education.
  • Work with dis­tri­b­u­tion part­ners to cre­ate sales goals to fur­ther brand aware­ness and cre­ate prod­uct forecasts
  • Coor­di­nate with dis­trib­u­tor rep­re­sen­ta­tives to secure new can/draft place­ments, in-store pro­mo­tion events, and floor displays/features.
  • Super­vise local rep­re­sen­ta­tives in main­tain­ing sales direc­tives and achiev­ing sales tar­gets in respec­tive territories.
  • Devel­op, explore, and cre­ate a sched­ule of events/festivals that fur­ther brand visibility.
  • Sched­ule and con­duct “Work Withs” with dis­tri­b­u­tion rep­re­sen­ta­tives and Dis­trict Managers
  • Schedule/Staff/Determine which accounts to con­duct in-store events (Pint nights, Hand-sales, Tast­ings, etc)
  • Ensure all out­side events/festivals have ade­quate prod­uct, staffing, sup­plies, and are prop­er­ly invoiced accordingly
  • Pre­pare and work any out­side events/festivals as needed
  • Main­tain ordering/invoicing and deliv­ery of any self-dis­tri­b­u­tion accounts

Reporting / Administrative

  • Week­ly Syn­op­sis sum­ma­riz­ing account vis­its for pre­vi­ous week.
  • Pay­roll Report – detail­ing any reim­burse­ments and addi­tion­al event staffing.
  • Dis­trib­u­tor Ter­ri­to­ry / Sales Analy­sis – exam­in­ing any increas­es or decreas­es in indi­vid­ual dis­tri­b­u­tion ter­ri­to­ries and deter­min­ing where to con­cen­trate sales efforts.
  • Com­pile indi­vid­ual reports from local sales rep­re­sen­ta­tives to present to dis­tri­b­u­tion partners.
  • Detailed sales growth analy­sis reports based on goals
  • Sales mate­ri­als and goal/incentive devel­op­ment includ­ing any point of sale or mate­r­i­al for distribution
  • Work with pro­duc­tion team to devel­op an action plan for lim­it­ed release / new prod­uct roll outs and fore­casts in accor­dance with annu­al plan

Salary: $45,000 to $55,000/year plus a com­mis­sion pay structure
