Job Description
This position is full time and reports to the Director of Operations / President. Our Director of Sales and Outside Events will be responsible for maintaining a fluid sales route, working with distribution partners, and directly supporting local distribution sales representatives in accordance with company policies to further the Lone Tree Brewing Company Brand through outside sales and events.
Tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Daily account visits in the greater Denver metro.
- Front Range outlier account visits — As needed/scheduled — (Colorado Springs, Boulder/Longmont, Fort Collins)
- Western Slope/Summit County territories visits – As needed/scheduled according to season/events — (Summit County, Vail Valley, Steamboat Springs, Glenwood/Aspen, and Grand Junction)
- Securing and maintaining a professional working relationship with individual store beer buyers/managers, owners, and relative staff.
- Introduce new products in accordance with monthly/yearly goals which include developing sales materials for distribution and conduct account sampling / education.
- Maintain/increase brand visibility by way of shelf placement, point of sale material, pricing structure, product features, menu visibility, and staff awareness/education.
- Work with distribution partners to create sales goals to further brand awareness and create product forecasts
- Coordinate with distributor representatives to secure new can/draft placements, in-store promotion events, and floor displays/features.
- Supervise local representatives in maintaining sales directives and achieving sales targets in respective territories.
- Develop, explore, and create a schedule of events/festivals that further brand visibility.
- Schedule and conduct “Work Withs” with distribution representatives and District Managers
- Schedule/Staff/Determine which accounts to conduct in-store events (Pint nights, Hand-sales, Tastings, etc)
- Ensure all outside events/festivals have adequate product, staffing, supplies, and are properly invoiced accordingly
- Prepare and work any outside events/festivals as needed
- Maintain ordering/invoicing and delivery of any self-distribution accounts
Reporting / Administrative
- Weekly Synopsis summarizing account visits for previous week.
- Payroll Report – detailing any reimbursements and additional event staffing.
- Distributor Territory / Sales Analysis – examining any increases or decreases in individual distribution territories and determining where to concentrate sales efforts.
- Compile individual reports from local sales representatives to present to distribution partners.
- Detailed sales growth analysis reports based on goals
- Sales materials and goal/incentive development including any point of sale or material for distribution
- Work with production team to develop an action plan for limited release / new product roll outs and forecasts in accordance with annual plan
Salary: $45,000 to $55,000/year plus a commission pay structure
