LONE TREE, CO— Over the weekend, Lone Tree Brewing was honored with the bronze medal in the American Fruit Beer category at the 2021 Great American Beer Festival® for their Peach Pale Ale.
As the penultimate brewing competition in the United States, GABF® compares submissions to it’s category specific parameters, awarding a possible three medals for bronze, silver, and gold based on how well that year’s submissions match up.
In a category of 133 entries, Peach Pale Ale’s subtle fruit-forward flavor stood out. Made from real ripened peaches paired with a refreshing citrus aroma, this beer is a deep golden color with a medium body, approachable bitterness, and a finishing stone fruit flavor.
“It’s exciting to see one of our longest running beers get this kind of recognition,” says Dennis Stack, Lone Tree’s Sales & Marketing Director. “True to our style of brewing, the base pale ale is a solid brew on its own but we like to put a subtle twist on it with the addition of peach.”
Long time creators of fruit beer, Lone Tree always uses real fruit flavor that adds clean, bright notes to any style and earns awards ranging from GABF to state based competitions.
